Methodology

A public number is not automatically a useful number. Here is how each figure on this site was obtained, and what it is allowed to mean.

01

Data sources

Every figure on this site was read from the board's own public pages: a live counter, a stats page, or a published purchase record. Each board's case file links to the exact page the number came from, so any reader can re-check it. Nothing is modelled, extrapolated, or estimated.

02

Domain checks

Each domain is checked against the .lol registry over RDAP and resolved over DNS. That is how a board earns the Domain parked status: a real registration, a real parking record, and no page that has ever answered. Launch dates are registration dates unless the operator publishes its own launch time.

03

Public amount

Public amount means the gross value a board claims or exposes, not profit, cash in the bank, or operator income. Payment fees, refunds, taxes, and promotion costs may be absent. That distinction is why we do not label it revenue without qualification, and why a self-reported total sits at Reported rather than Verified no matter how large it is.

04

What zero means

A board is recorded at zero when it publishes no amount. Several of these boards have visible paying customers, live directories, or paid events in their own activity logs. Zero is a statement about disclosure, not about earnings, and it carries the Unpublished label to keep the two apart.

05

What this set excludes

Only boards that were checked by hand are listed. The leader states it saw at least ten copycats in its first day; most were never registered under the names people guessed, and a domain nobody ever bought is not a failed board. If a board is missing, send it in and it will be checked rather than assumed.

06

Confidence scoring

The label describes the evidence behind a specific observation. It does not judge whether the product is legitimate or worthwhile.

Verified

The operator publishes an itemised record: a stats page, a ledger, or per-purchase receipts that can be re-read at any time.

Reported

The board states a figure on its own pages, but nothing behind it can be audited from the outside.

Unpublished

The board is live and publishes no amount at all. Zero on this site means unproven, never disproven.

Stale

A previously valid observation has not refreshed inside the expected window.

Conflict

Two credible sources disagree beyond the accepted tolerance.

Suspicious

Patterns suggest tests, circular bids, self-dealing, or an unclear counter definition.

Dead

The domain is registered but nothing serves on it, or the board has gone offline for good.

CORRECTIONS

Every number here is a reading of someone else's public page on a single date, and those pages change. If a figure is wrong, out of date, or you operate one of these boards and want it corrected, write to hi@giothq.com with the page that shows otherwise and it will be re-checked.
